About Serendipity

Serendipity has been in business in Virginia since 1990, first in Occoquan, now in Arlington. We sell unique home furnishings, decorative accessories, silk floral arrangements, and gifts for all occasions. Our products are displayed in a home-like setting, making it easier for you to imagine them in your home. Our stores reflect the experience and personalities of owners Carol Bowen and Lynne McCartin, who personally select each item.

Our experienced staff is here to help you with your selections, but we have a seven-day return policy, so if you find your choice doesn't work, just bring it back.

Arlington Store:

Our ARLINGTON LOCATION is located in the Lee Harrison Shopping Center, next to Harris Teeter, at the corner of Lee Hwy. and Harrison Street.

Convenient to Falls Church, Arlington, the Pentagon, Rosslyn, Crystal City, Seven Corners, Alexandria, McLean, Fairfax County, Tyson's, and Washington D.C.

Only 5 minutes from Chain Bridge, and only 10 minutes from downtown Washington.

Occoquan Store:

Our OCCOQUAN LOCATION is located only 11 miles south of the beltway (495) in Historic Occoquan.

Just off of I-95. Take exit 160 and merge onto Gordon Blvd/VA-123 N toward Occoquan/Lake Ridge; Turn right on Riverview Ln, left on Poplar Ln, and continue straight onto Mill St.

Near Aquia Harbor, Burke, Dumfries, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Fort Belvoir, Lake Ridge, Lorton, Newington, Potomac Mills, Quantico, Springfield, and Woodbridge.
